Cerebrolysin is a neurotrophic peptide complex derived from porcine brain fractions, supplied as a lyophilized research compound and studied in controlled research environments for BDNF/NGF/GDNF-mimetic signaling, neuroplasticity, and neuroprotection in research models. For research use only.
Description
Cerebrolysin is a purified mixture of low-molecular-weight neuropeptides and amino acids derived from porcine brain tissue. Supplied as a lyophilized research-grade compound for use in controlled research environments, it contains fragments that mimic natural neurotrophic factors — BDNF, NGF, and GDNF — making it one of the most extensively investigated neurotrophic complexes in research models.About Cerebrolysin (60mg)
Cerebrolysin is a multi-component peptide preparation studied across decades of neuroscience research for its broad neurotrophic, neuroprotective, and anti-inflammatory activity in research models of neurological stress and injury. What It's Being Studied To Do
- Support neuronal survival in research models of ischemia or neuroinflammation
- Promote neuroplasticity by enhancing synaptic formation and dendritic growth markers
- Influence cognitive performance — memory, attention, executive processing — in research models
- Investigate recovery dynamics in models of neurological injury and neurodegeneration
- Increase neurotrophic factor expression (BDNF, NGF) in research-model brain tissue
- Probe anti-inflammatory and antioxidant pathways within neural tissue
Why It Matters in Research
Neurons have limited regenerative ability once damaged in research models. Cerebrolysin research investigates how a multi-fragment neurotrophic complex can bolster a research model's native repair and adaptation signaling.Common Research Pairings
- Semax — BDNF and cognitive pathway research
- Selank — stress-response balance
- Dihexa — synaptogenesis research
- NAD+ — cellular energy substrate

Storage Instructions
All products from Rhema Research Labs are manufactured using a lyophilization (freeze-drying) process. This method is designed to maintain product integrity and allows vials to remain stable during shipping for approximately 3–4 months.
Once a vial is reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, it should be stored in the refrigerator to help maintain stability. Under these conditions, reconstituted material is generally considered stable for up to 30 days.
Lyophilization is a dehydration technique in which compounds are frozen and then exposed to low pressure. This causes the water in the vial to sublimate directly from solid to gas, leaving behind a stable, crystalline white structure. This powder can be kept at room temperature until reconstitution.
Upon receipt, products should be stored away from heat and light. For short-term use, refrigeration at approximately 4°C (39°F) is suitable. For long-term storage (several months to years), vials may be placed in a freezer at approximately -80°C (-112°F). Freezing is the preferred method for preserving product stability over extended periods.
